AvoidcssCSS Exclusions aimed to let content wrap around arbitrarily positioned shapes, going beyond floats. The spec stalled and browser support never arrived, so it is best avoided in favor of CSS Shapes and grid for the layouts people actually build.

Should you use exclusions in 2026?
Exclusions are new and exciting, but very much in flux. Active development to get an implementation out is on-going, but again, please avoid using this until there are stable implementations in the wild.
